Our Avionics Workshop includes an in-house design facility to configure and implement avionics installations and upgrades to all types of GA aircraft. - Recent advances in GA avionics means systems previously only available for larger Aircraft can now be installed into your Aircraft. These include Honeywell IHAS which incorporates TCAS (traffic collision avoidance system) and EGPWS (enhanced ground proximity warning system). Also remote mounted stormscopes with interfaces to Garmin GNS530/430 moving maps. - Audio systems have now become more sophisticated, i.e. 6 place vox intercoms integral in audio selectors, stereo phones outputs and input for music. - Installations / upgrades including GPS, NAV/COM, ADF, DME, Transponders and other navigation equipment. Our avionics engineers have more than twenty years experience of fitting radio and navigation equipment to Aircraft. Our avionics workshop includes a repair and testing facility. Whether it's a radio, headset, or other unserviceable item we can advise if economic repair is an option. Call our avionics team for further information. We also perform radio annual checks and GPS database updates. |
